Ingredients alfredo sauce
6 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 1/4 cup half and half
1/4 cup water
1 tsp nutmeg
3/4 cup fresh shredded asiago cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp parsley
how to make alfredo sauce
In large sauce pan melt butter over low heat
Add flour and wisk together to make a rouge
Immediately add half and half and water
Stir constantly until thick adding in nutmeg, garlic powder, and parsley
Add cheese stir constantly until melted and creamy
Serve over pasta or chicken
