Ingredients apple tart roses


1/2 lb pâte Brisée dough
4 large apples
1 pints apricot preserves
1 tbsp cinnamon

how to make apple tart roses


preheat oven to 375


place dough in pan and poke holes all around bottom


cut off excess dough from edges


add fruit preserves in even layer


cut apples into thin, half circle like slices. As thin as possible


microwave slices for about 30-60 Seconds


Start adding slices to pie crust and preserves, keeping them tightly wrapped around each other. start with smaller pieces and work up to bigger ones on the outer edge. using a toothpick may help with detail work


brush some preserve glaze over the top, then sprinkle cinnamon on top


place in oven for 20-30 minutes (may take longer, keep watchful eye)


After a few minutes, cover with aluminum


tart is done when crust is golden
