8 tsp soy sauce
5 tsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp white wine
1 tbsp ginger
1 lb chicken breast
4 servings spaghetti noodles
1/2 yellow onion
1 green pepper
2 clove garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil
how to make chicken lo mein
Cut chicken into thin, 1"x2" pieces and set aside.
Cook noodles to package instructions, strain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
Cut onion and green pepper to desired sizes. Set aside.
Mince ginger and place in a bowl.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and white wine to the bowl with the ginger. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil on medium-low heat.
While oil is heating, mince the garlic, then place in the skillet and stir fry until slightly brown.
Add chicken, onion, and pepper to the skillet and turn heat to medium-high. Stir fry.
Once chicken is fully cooked, add noodles and turn to high heat. Stir fry for about a minute.
Add soy sauce mixture to the skillet and continue to stir fry until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and serve.
