Ingredients fettucine alfredo
500 grams fettucine
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 medium onions
2 clove garlic
150 grams back bacon
200 grams frozen peas
180 ml fresh cream
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 grated parmesan to serve
how to make fettucine alfredo
Leave peas to defrost
Chop bacon into small pieces
Heat butter and oil and add onions and garlic
Cook over medium heat until onions are soft
Stir occasionaly
Turn heat to high and add bacon
Cook for 2 minutes then lower heat back to medium
Add peas and season with salt and pepper
Give ingredients a good stir and simmer for 10 mins
Pour in cream, stir sauce and switch off heat
Keep sauce covered until you cook the pasta
Stir pasta in sauce and serve
