Ingredients hawaiian meatloaf
Meatloaf
1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Sweet Italian Sausage
1 20oz can Crushed Pineapple (divided drained juices reserved)
1 tbsp Pineapple Juice
1 Red Onion (chopped)
2 Eggs
1 cup Bread Crumbs
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 cup Bbq Sauce (Jack Daniels olde no 7 works great)
3 slice Bacon (cut in half)
Glaze
1 cup Bbq Sauce
1 Crushed Pineapple
2 tbsp Pineapple Juice
how to make hawaiian meatloaf
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix all meatloaf ingredients together except bacon but use only half of the can of drained pineapple saving the rest for the glaze.
Form into loaf on greased 9x13 baking dish and layer with bacon.
Put into oven and cook for 50 minutes.
While meatloaf is cooking mix together glaze then refridgerate until ready to use.
after 50 minutes take out of oven and drain off fat and grease.
Pour glaze over meatloaf and spread covering top and sides.
Cook for an additional 20 minutes. take out and let cool at least 5 minutes.
