Ingredients kadhi basic quick and simple
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Ajwain seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
4 Whole hot red chillies
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Turmeric Paste
a few Curry leaves
1 Medium onion fine chopped
2 tomatoes fine chopped
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 cup Yogurt
1/2 Cup Besan (Chickpea Flour)
1 tsp Salt
3 cups Water

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin, ajwain and mustard seeds. Cook 2 mins.
Add onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic turmeric paste and cook 5 minutes.
In a bowl mix yogurt, besan and water. Use a whisk. Make sure there are no lumps. Add this to the pot. Add salt. Bring it to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cook to desired thickness. Don't let it boil over. Don't cover. You may leave a wooden spoon in the pot.
