Ingredients lasagna
1/2 lb lasgna noodles (9 noodles)
1/2 lb ground italian sausage
1 egg (slightly beaten)
8 oz ricotta
2 cup mozzarella (shredded)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp italian seasoning
24 oz pasta sauce (I enjoy Hunts Traditional)
how to make lasagna
Cook noodles according to package directions
Crumble and brown sausage. Stir in pasta sauce and set aside
Preheat oven to 375*
In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg & seasonings
Grease a medium baking dish. Add 1/3 cup of sauce to bottom of pan
Cover bottom of pan with 3 noodles
Cover noodles with 1/3 cheese. Then top with 1/3 sauce
Repeat layers 2 more times (noodles, cheese then sauce)
Top with remaining mozzarella
Cover and bake for 30 minutes
Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes
