Ingredients pecan pie
1 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs (beaten)
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup pecans (I like a mixture of halves & chopped)
1 raw pie crust (deep dish)
how to make pecan pie
Preheat oven to 350°
In a medium bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients thoroughly
Pour into pie crust and cover with pecans
Bake on middle rack for 60 minutes
Cover pie with foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes (until middle is springy)
Cool for 2-3 hours before slicing (or it'll be runny!)
