how to make cheddar bay biscuits from scratch
Preheat oven to 400°F. And spray a baking sheet with Pam.
In a big bowl- combine flour, old bay seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, sugar and salt. Pour in 1 cup of cold milk and 1/2 c (1 stick) of UNsalted melted butter, stir with a wooden spoon to mix. Add the cheese and stir. Scoop mixture onto baking sheet. (With a lil space apart for each scoop.)Bake for about 15 minutes.
Combine remaining 1/4 c Salted melted butter(4 tbsp), 1/2 tsp garlic powder and parsley in a small bowl. Brush on top of each biscuit when it comes out of the oven.
TIP: I also added some cooked ground sausage to some of the leftover batter, and they tasted like sausage balls. Was VERY good!
